Charity

"Charity"The Art work is a 5x7, painted in gouache and topped with a layer of encaustic. Then glazed with some Pearl pigment powder to give it the shine. This piece was inspired by my weekly attempts at capturing the savior weekly. I felt that it was important to explore many unique variations of him. I think that it is important that we do not rely on artistic renditons of him, but know him in our hearts. What's most important is what he taught, not what he looked like. I think if we truly know His word, then we will know Him at the second coming no matter if he comes in traditional robes, or a suit and tie.
